ABOUT

Damaged Reich are a 4 piece thrash metal band hailing from Oxford, UK.

Formed in July 2017 as a 4 piece the band quickly got to work on writing material ready to gig, and within a few weeks had written their first song. Within a few months the band were ready to start to play live shows. First off playing at a private show at the studio where the band rehearse, quickly followed by a show in Witney Oxfordshire.

By December 2017 Damaged Reich had recorded 3 songs and had made the decision to release 1 song and keep the other 2 back to only be released with an album.

The band then went onto enter the Metal 2 The Masses (Oxford) competition. This lead to the band playing on the Jagermeister Stage at Bloodstock 2018, after making it all the way to the finals. Bloodstock marked the bands 10th live show to date.

Following Bloodstock Liam joined the band as the second guitarist and added his own spin to songs that were previously thought to be finished as well as helping to write new songs.

Throughout the second half of 2018 and first half of 2019 Damaged Reich were fully committed to finishing their debut album Death Becomes Us All, as well as playing several live shows around the Oxford, High Wycombe, Bristol, and Cardiff areas. Early 2019 also saw the release of the bands debut album Death Becomes Us All. The release party for this was an all day event held in a venue in the centre of Oxford.

The outbreak of Covid-19 put the breaks on the band, like many around the country. After restrictions were lifted practice could resume and the band are ready to play live again.

Unfortunatley shortly after resuming practice Liam made the hard decision to leave the band.

Going forward the band will be playing live shows for the end of 2021 and beyond.
